Event Overview
The Dash O.F. Color is a non-timed running and walking event held in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. The course covers a distance of approximately 2 to 2.5 miles (noted as 5K in registration categories). This event celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, and is organized by the Oconto Falls Lioness Club. All proceeds from the race are distributed back into the local community.
Course and Experience
Participants follow a route through the town of Oconto Falls. The event features multiple color stations and confetti stations where participants are showered with colored powder as they move through the course. There are no timing requirements, allowing individuals to run, walk, or stroll at their own pace.
Registration and Categories
There are several registration tiers available for participants:
- Individual Adult for those 18 years and older.
- Individual Child for participants aged 17 and under.
- Team Registration available for groups of at least four people.
- Family Package covering two adults and up to three children.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, as prizes are awarded for various categories including best costumes, overall colorfulness, and the largest team.
Event Logistics
The primary location for the event is Memorial Field at 601 Caldwell Ave. A packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at a local insurance office on North Main Street, as well as on the morning of the event at Memorial Field. While online registration closes early, in-person registration remains available on-site during the morning of the race.
