About the race
The Dartford Half Marathon is a road closed, single loop Half Marathon taking place on 21st February 2027. The course leaves Central Park, runs down to South Darenth, passes through the Kent countryside and returns to Dartford town centre, finishing on the athletics track at Central Park Arena. The route is described as undulating and is held entirely on closed roads. The event is organised by RunThrough in partnership with Dartford Harriers AC.
The race uses electronic chip timing. A themed medal is provided at the finish. Practical event details include a 3 hour cut off time for the course and an age requirement of 17 years or older on race day. Water is available at the 5k, 10k and 15k points and again at the finish.
Portable toilets will be provided on site. There is a secure baggage area; baggage tags are attached to race numbers and baggage is collected by showing the race number to staff. Results are published online after the race. A photographer records images of the event and photos are made available on the organiser photo pages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
