Darling Brew Trail Wildflower Dash 2026
Darling Brew Trail Wildflower Dash 2026 takes place Saturday, 29 August 2026 in Darling, Western Cape. The event is organised by Darling Brew and is based at the Darling Brew Tasteroom, 48 Caledon Street, Darling. The event lists a typical minimum age of 12 and is described at an intermediate level.
Routes run through farmland, vineyards and open terrain on the West Coast and include full hydration support. Course marking uses red and black arrows on white boards, with split points marked by race category names and color-coded arrows matching bibs. Marshals are positioned along the route. Some sections are left uncut to protect wildflowers and runners may encounter livestock.
Participants receive a goodie bag and a finisher’s drink, available alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Race day support and clearly marked routes are provided. Safety guidance asks runners to wear sun protection SPF 50, a hat or buff, and trail-appropriate gear, and to complete the online indemnity form before the event. Hydration packs and emergency snacks are strongly recommended for the 25 km route. No littering is permitted on the private farmlands and runners are expected to be courteous to marshals, farmers and farm workers. Refunds are not available after 18 August 2026.
