Dandelion Foundation Color Fun Run 2027
The event takes place on June 5, 2027 in Great Falls, Montana at 701 River Dr. N., near Elks Riverside Park. Proceeds support the Dandelion Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse and family violence.
Two organized distances are offered:
- 5K run / walk
- 1 mile kids run / walk
Registration fees are tiered: adults pay $35, participants aged 7 to 17 pay $10, and children 6 and under run free with a registered adult. All registrants receive a t-shirt and a color packet; registered children also receive capes. Strollers are welcome. Pets are not allowed. Registration refunds are provided only if the event is cancelled.
Packet pick-up and registration occur at two times and locations: Friday evening at Annie’s Tap House and the morning of the event near the skatepark at Elks Riverside Park. Races begin near the Elks Riverside Park Skatepark and the 1 mile and 5K are staggered close together to accommodate families.
The organizers use high quality nontoxic colored powder purchased through Color Blaze; the powder is described as washing easily from most clothes and hair. Suggested items include sunglasses, sunscreen, and towels or blankets for the drive home. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
