Dallas Cowboys Draft Day 5K
The Dallas Cowboys Draft Day 5K occurs at The Star in Frisco, Texas, as part of the annual NFL Draft weekend activities. This community event provides an opportunity for participants to engage in a series of running and walking activities centered around the Ford Center and Cowboys Way. The event includes a variety of distances to accommodate different ages and preferences.
Available event distances:
- 5K Run (3.1 miles)
- Kids Run (1/2 mile) for ages 14 and under
- Toddler Dash (50 yards)
- Virtual 5K for participants at remote locations
The course for the in-person races begins at The Star in Frisco. Participants conclude their run on the field at the Tostitos Championship Plaza. The event atmosphere features appearances by Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the mascot Rowdy the Cowboy.
Registered participants receive an official event t-shirt and a commemorative finisher medal. Those opting for the virtual 5K receive their race materials via mail and have access to an online leaderboard to post their results.
