Dalbeattie 10K
The Dalbeattie 10 km road race is scheduled for early August 2026 and is based at Dalbeattie Learning Campus in Great Britain. The course is officially measured and certified and is operated under Scottish Athletics rules, with permit pending.
The route starts on Haugh Road near the primary school entrance, follows Haugh Road out of town, turns at Netheryett to pass through countryside sections with several climbs, then returns on Haugh Road to finish near the school turn off. Roads are not closed during the event, so runners must follow marshal directions and be mindful of traffic.
Entry fees are listed as £10 for SA/EA/WA affiliated runners and £12 for non affiliated runners. Registration opens on 1 May 2026 at 09:00. The event list shows a single distance of 10 km.
Included with entry are first aid cover, a kilometre marked course, parking at Craignair Health Centre, toilet facilities, water on course, a finishers medal, overall male and female prizes, category prizes, and tea, coffee and cakes at the finish in the church hall.
