Cypress Half Marathon & 5K
The Cypress Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Cypress, TX on November 8, 2026. The event is presented by Houston Methodist and is the 12th edition of this race. It is part of the Run Houston Fall Haul Running Challenge and is USATF certified (TX15106ETM).

The race is chip timed. Finisher medals are awarded to every participant and top finishers receive winner medals by age group. Runner gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgraded 1/4-zip pullover. Voodoo Doughnuts are provided at the finish line. Water stations include water for all courses and sports drink on the half marathon. There is no gear check on site.
Packet options include mailing for a fee and on-site pickup; mailed packets typically arrive 1 to 4 days before race day. Course maps and live participant tracking are available through the event’s tracking service. Course time limits are listed for each distance. Pacers will be available across a range of target finish times. Free parking is provided around Cypress Woods High School and additional paid parking is available at Cypress Park & Ride, approximately 0.60 mile from the start/finish.
