Cypress Half Marathon & 5K - Cypress, TX - Nov. 8, 2026
The Cypress Half Marathon & 5K is a community road race held in Cypress, Texas. The 2026 edition is the 12th annual event and is presented by Houston Methodist. It is part of the Run Houston Fall Haul Running Challenge.

All participants receive a finisher medal. Race gear is offered as a runner's choice classic t-shirt or an upgraded premium quarter-zip pullover. Voodoo Doughnuts will be available at the finish. The event is chip timed and the half marathon course is USATF certified (TX15106ETM). Course maps and live participant tracking via a tracking app are provided.
Pacing groups are available to help runners achieve target finish times. Water stations on course include water, and half marathon stations also include a sports drink. Parking for athletes and spectators is offered in several lots around Cypress Woods High School; additional paid parking is available at a nearby park-and-ride about 0.60 mile away. Packet mailing to participants is offered for a fee.
The event includes awards by age group and overall placements. Virtual run options and packet mailings are available for those not attending in person. The race operates under weather-dependent conditions and is chip timed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
