Cupcake Run
The Cupcake Run is a charity running event scheduled for September 27, 2026, at Erindale Park in Mississauga, Ontario. The event supports Erica's Wish Blanket Program and POGO, with net proceeds used to purchase blankets for children and to support POGO's services.
Distances offered at the event include:
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 1K kids dash
- Cupcake decorating option
In-person 5K participants receive a race tee, a custom cupcake medal, photo opportunities on course, a swag bag, and a finish line celebration. The virtual 5K entry includes a race tee, a custom cupcake medal, and shipping to the participant. The in-person 1K includes a finisher memento and cupcake decorating at the finish. A separate cupcake-decorating entry is available for those who only wish to participate in that activity.
Registration fees contribute to event costs such as permits, insurance, supplies, and administration and are not charitable donations. Net proceeds are directed to Erica's Wish and POGO. Current fundraising progress shows CA$3,784.87 raised toward a CA$20,000 goal.
