Cupcake Run 2026
The Cupcake Run is a community sports event held at Erindale Park in Mississauga, Ontario. This event features outdoor walking and running races programmed alongside a virtual participation option. The event raises funds in support of Erica’s Wish Blanket Program and POGO (Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario).
Participants can choose from the following distances and categories:
- 5 km Sweet Run/Walk
- 1 km Kids' Dash
- 5 km Virtual Run/Walk
The in-person 5 km entry includes a race tee, a custom cupcake medal, a swag bag, and access to a finish line party with photo opportunities along the course. Participants in the 1 km kids' dash receive a custom finisher memento and can participate in cupcake decorating at the finish line. A separate "I’m Only Here For The Cupcakes" registration is available for those who wish to participate solely in the decorating activity.
The event takes place within the grounds of Erindale Park. For those choosing the virtual 5 km, the race tee and medal are shipped directly to their door. Net proceeds from the registration fees and donations are used to purchase blankets for children in oncology and to provide care through POGO.
