Crystal Coast Indoor Triathlon
The Crystal Coast Indoor Triathlon is the sixth annual indoor triathlon held at The "GYM" Cape Carteret Aquatic & Wellness in Cape Carteret, North Carolina. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2027.
The triathlon is composed of three consecutive segments: a 20 minute swim in the indoor pool, a 20 minute indoor cycle class, and a 20 minute run on Cybex treadmills. Each wave contains up to eight participants, with two athletes assigned per pool lane. Participants may choose their preferred wave during registration.
During the event the pool area, the basketball court, and a set of treadmills will be marked off with race tape and closed to gym members. Volunteers will be stationed at each area to direct participants, answer questions, and signal the start and finish of each wave. Registration pricing increases incrementally in the period leading up to the event. Spots are limited.
