Crown and Anchor Mews Memorial 8k

The event is an 8 km road race scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, running from the Mundy Pond area to Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John's. The course starts on Mundy Pond Road and finishes at the Quidi Vidi Boathouse and carries course certification NL-2019-027-PTBA.

Entry requires a $40 fee and either NLAA membership or a day permit. Registration closes June 11 at 10 PM. Bib pickup is at Hop Shop, 16 Harbour View Avenue, on Saturday, June 13 from 2 PM to 4 PM. A water station is provided at Freshwater by Empire.

Finishers receive a Quidi Vidi Brewery branded medal for the first 500 finishers and a complimentary race day beverage valid during the reception at Quidi Vidi Brewery. Medal presentations take place in the morning. The event committee donates $5 per runner to a local charity, with the 2026 beneficiary to be announced. A $500 prize is offered for anyone who breaks the course record.

The race is NLAA accredited, is part of the Toyota High Performance Series, and has been held continuously for more than 35 years. Recent editions have attracted several hundred finishers and over 100 volunteers, and have raised funds for local programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
