CURE-Ageous 5K Fun Run at Cross Creek West
The CURE-Ageous 5K fun run in Cross Creek West, Fulshear, Texas takes place on October 24 and benefits the IBC Network Foundation. The event supports awareness and fundraising for Inflammatory Breast Cancer and highlights information about the disease, including that IBC can present as a swollen, red, or inflamed breast and may progress rapidly.
This non competitive 5 kilometer run or walk is family friendly. Registration includes a race day T shirt, runner bib, and participation medal. The event provides water stations at the start, mid point, and finish, post race refreshments, a photo booth, and a range of activities such as face painting, a DJ, yard games, and food trucks. Strollers are allowed on the course, and well behaved leashed dogs may participate. Golf carts will shuttle participants from the designated parking at Haygood Elementary to the event area for those who need assistance.
Onsite registration is available the morning of the race for a fee; same day registration may not guarantee a medal. A route map and directions are available for participants. The event organizer posts standard participant risk and release terms for everyone who takes part. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
