Crooked Lake Freedom 5 Mile Run
The Crooked Lake Freedom 5 is a community run and walk held at Crooked Lake in Angola, Indiana on July 4, 2026. The event includes two course options:
- 5 Mile run
- 5K run/walk
Both events start at the 4-H Fairgrounds located at the southeast side of the first basin on Crooked Lake. The stated registration fee for each event is $35.00. Registration opens on 2026-02-01 and closes on 2026-04-04. For same day or day before registration, only cash and check payments will be accepted.
The purpose of the event is to promote community engagement and wellness within the Crooked Lake community. It is dedicated to honoring those who currently serve and those who have previously served in the protection of liberties and freedoms.
