Crazies Trifecta
The Crazies Trifecta is a series of three half marathons held on three consecutive days in March across locations in DeKalb County, Alabama, including Rainsville. Each day covers a half marathon distance and the total distance over the weekend is 39.3 miles.
The event is presented as a no-frills run. There will be no official timing, no water stations, no door prizes, and no prize money. Participants who complete all three days are eligible to receive custom Crazies Trifecta swag; completion of every day is required to receive the swag.
Registration is limited to the first 100 registrants and a registration deadline of February 23 is stated. Early registration pricing and a later pricing tier are described, with an initial fee of $75 and a higher fee of $100 in a later period. Starting locations for each run are provided to registrants in advance by email.
Proceeds are designated for the Rainsville Freedom Run charities. The series references multiple start locations within DeKalb County and describes a tour-style weekend of running across local roads and terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
