Event

The Crazies Trifecta is three half marathons held over three consecutive days in DeKalb County, Alabama, with activities based in Rainsville, AL 35986. The event covers a total of 39.3 miles across three separate half marathon courses. It is organized as a no-frills run: there will be no timing, no water stations, no door prizes, and no prize money. Starting locations will be emailed to registered participants two weeks before the event. Participants who complete all three runs will receive custom Crazies Trifecta swag; completion of all three days is required to receive the swag.

Registration and fees

Registration opens December 31, 2025. Early registration from January 1 to January 31 is $75; registration from February 1 to February 23 is $100. The event is limited to the first 100 registrants and the registration deadline is February 23, 2026. Registration for the Crazies Trifecta automatically includes entry to the Rainsville Freedom Run on June 6, 2026. Proceeds from the Trifecta will be given to Rainsville Freedom Run charities.
