The Crazies Trifecta is a three-day running event consisting of three half marathons, one each day. The event takes place from March 6 to March 8, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM daily. The runs occur in three cities within DeKalb County, Alabama, including Rainsville.

Event Details

Participants run a total of 39.3 miles over the three days. The event is described as a "no frills run," meaning there will be no official timing, on-course water stations, door prizes, or prize money. All participants who complete all three runs receive custom "Crazies" swag. Registration for the Crazies Trifecta includes automatic registration for the Rainsville Freedom Run on June 6, 2026.

Registration opens on January 1, 2026. The cost is $75 from January 1-31, 2026, and increases to $100 from February 1-23, 2026. All proceeds from the event are donated to the charities of the Rainsville Freedom Run. Participation is limited to the first 100 registrants. The registration deadline is February 23, 2026.
