2026 Crawfish Crawl 5K
The Crawfish Crawl 5K takes place in Downtown Brandon, Mississippi. The event is organized by the Brandon Main Street Association and features a course that traverses both flat and hilly terrain through the commercial and residential districts. The start and finish lines are located at the end of Black Street. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Little Crawlers Kids Fun Run
The 5K route is open to participants aged 13 and older, with registration fees increasing as the event date approaches. Runners and walkers will experience music along the route. All finishers receive a race medal and a t-shirt, though shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by April 1, 2026. Adult finishers also receive one beverage with their race bib.
The 1 Mile Little Crawlers Kids Fun Run is designed for children aged 5 to 12. This shorter route is a variation of the 5K course and includes a finisher's medal and a t-shirt for all registered participants.
Following the races, a festival atmosphere continues in Downtown Brandon. This post-race event includes live music in the Rooftop Revival parking lot, crawfish plates, and individual live crawfish races. A local artist will be present to live-paint the finish line scene, which will be raffled off to support the community association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
