Event Overview
The Crawfish Crawl 5K is a running and walking event in downtown Brandon, Mississippi. The 5K (3.1 miles) course is described as a mix of flat and hilly terrain that goes through parts of the commercial and residential downtown district. The start and finish line is sponsored by Performance Therapy.
Race Details
All finishers receive a race medal that doubles as a bottle opener. Each finisher also receives one beer at the finish line with their race bib. During the event registration, participants can order an exclusive event t-shirt for a discounted price. A promo code for a discount on a separate crawfish event ticket is emailed after race registration.
Registration fees are listed as $39.61 from January 12 to March 23, 2026, and $44.98 from March 24 until the event day.
Post-Race Festival
The event is a fundraiser for the Brandon Main Street Association. Following the race, a separate "Crawfish Crawl" festival takes place. The venue Mudbugs042 opens early for ticket holders, featuring live crawfish races, live music, and baseball games on TV. Food trucks and local restaurants offer special items like crawfish tails, empanadas, and crawfish pizza. An art crawl with live painting and pop-up artists is also part of the festivities.
