Event Overview
The Coyote Challenge Race #1 is an indoor running event held in Peoria, Arizona. Organized by Comprehensive Fitness & Consultation in partnership with Orange Theory Fitness, the race takes place inside an air-conditioned studio. Participants complete the distance on treadmills to provide a temperature-controlled environment during the summer months.
This event serves as part of a series intended to prepare runners for the 9th Annual PTSD Awareness 5K Run/Walk. There are seven events scheduled through May 2027. Individuals who complete at least five out of the seven challenges receive special recognition and an award at the concluding event in June 2027.
Distance and Participation
The event consists of several heats covering a single distance:
- 5K running race
The race is open to participants aged 14 and older. Runners aged 14 to 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Those aged 16 to 17 may participate independently, but a legal guardian must sign the required liability form on-site at the studio.
Awards and Support
All participants receive a race bib and swag. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each individual heat. The proceeds from the registration fees benefit the First Responder PTS Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
