The Cowboy Ramble Run & Rhythm is the Arts of the Pamlico's 1st Annual western-themed fun run held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event supports preservation of the Historic Turnage Theatre in Washington, North Carolina. The main running event is a 5K and the program includes related activities before and after the run.

The event takes place at 307 W. Main Street, Washington, NC 27889. A country music concert follows the run at the Historic Turnage Theatre and will include a costume contest with medals for best cowboy and cowgirl outfits. Registrants receive a cowboy bandana and there are free events and activities scheduled around the 5K.

Registration, fees and results

Standard registration fees listed are $35 for individuals aged 19 and older and $25 for ages 18 and under, with a $5 discount for Arts of the Pamlico members. The race is timed by Run The East, LLC, and results will be provided by that timing service.
