About the race
The Course de l'Escalade in Geneva is a multi‑day running and popular sports festival held on 5 and 6 December 2026. The event combines mass participation with elite competition and promotes physical activity alongside sporting performance. Organizers describe two complementary aims: to encourage broad public participation and to provide races sought by national and international elite runners.
The program covers a wide range of races for different ages and groups and includes walking and relay formats. The event takes place in the Canton of Geneva and features varied distances and positive elevation changes on the city course. The 2025 edition recorded more than 59 000 participants, illustrating the event's large scale.
