Coulee Trail Classic - Washburn, ND
The Coulee Trail Classic is a trail event held in Washburn, North Dakota at 713 7th Street. The main course runs through the local coulees and uses a mix of surfaces, primarily grass with some asphalt and gravel. The route includes uneven terrain, logs to crawl over, and short stretches of mud or standing water. The chosen route is intended to be interesting and testing and may include obstacles and uneven or less safe sections; participants should be aware of these conditions.
Two event distances are offered:
- 4 miles - trail run through the coulees; mostly grass with some asphalt and gravel.
- 1.5 miles (kids) - about 1.5 miles on challenging terrain for ages 10 and under.
Registration is available online or on site, with on-site registration located at the Washburn High School parking lot. Entry fees listed are $25.00 for the 4 mile event and $10.00 for the kids run. Awards are presented to overall and division winners. Divisions are men and women in these age groups: 17 and under, 18-34, 35-49, and 50 and over.
