Cottenham Fun Run 2026
The Cottenham Fun Run is a community sports event held at the Cottenham Recreation Ground on Lambs Lane in Cambridge. Scheduled for May 2026, the event offers distances for different age groups and abilities. The primary course takes participants through a 7 km route.
In addition to the main distance, there is a 2 km Junior Run. This shorter course is located within the Recreation Ground. All participants in the junior category must be accompanied by an adult, and every junior finisher receives a medal upon crossing the line.
The event is organized with a participation limit of 250 runners. Financial proceeds from the registrations, following the deduction of costs, are distributed to the Alzheimer's Society and the local sports group Cottenham Colts FC. The entry process remains open until the day before the event, provided the capacity has not been reached.
