Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K
The Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are trail races held in Draper, Utah. The routes primarily traverse the Corner Canyon trail system and surrounding areas, featuring diverse terrain such as dirt, gravel, sand, and pavement. Runners navigate various path widths, ranging from wide roads to single-track trails with both uphill and downhill sections.
The courses pass several local landmarks, including Ghost Falls, the silica pit, and the Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge. Participants travel through natural scenery characterized by fall foliage and may encounter local canyon wildlife along the way. All races start and finish at the Andy Ballard Arena. The event infrastructure includes several aid stations providing water and sports drinks along the routes, with additional refreshments available at the finish line. A professional photographer is stationed on the course to take individual participant photos, which are provided as free digital downloads. A timing chip is included on the race bib for all distances.
The event has a four-hour cut-off time, after which event staff are withdrawn from the course. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the first-place finisher in each age and gender division.
