Event overview

Copythorne Carnival Run 5k/10k takes place on Monday 8th June 2026. The event offers a choice of a 5 km run (one lap) and a 10 km run (two laps of the same course). Real-time chip timing and bespoke finisher medals are provided. All proceeds support Scouting in the local community. Optional bespoke technical race t-shirts are available for purchase with entry.

Logistics and race services

Race number collection is available on the event day and in advance at specified local locations. A retail partner will supply race bibs and prizes. Water is provided on the route by a local pub and residents, and finish-line water is available for entrants to refill bottles. Food and hot drinks will be available from a barbecue and barista provision. Parking is available at Copythorne Parish Hall (about a 10-minute walk); car sharing is encouraged. Transfers are only accepted once a distance is sold out; deferrals and withdrawals are not accepted. Children under 11 must run with an adult entrant at all times.

Route

The course runs on A31 Romsey Road, Pollards Moor Road, Winsor Road (including a short out-and-back), and Barrow Hill Road, finishing at the Scout Hut for the 5 km. The 10 km follows the same loop twice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
