Copythorne Carnival Run
The Copythorne Carnival Run offers two distances:
- 5 km: A single lap around the village.
- 10 km: Two laps of the same village course.
The event is sponsored by Paultons Park. All proceeds support Scouting in the local community.
Event Details
Race number collection is available from 17:30 to 19:00 on race day. It is also available in advance at Up & Running in Chandlers Ford and the Copythorne Scout HQ the weekend before the event.
Participant Information
Entrants receive real-time chip timing and a bespoke finisher medal. For the first time, participants have the option to purchase a bespoke design technical T-shirt with their entry. The shirts are lightweight, breathable, quick-drying, and complement the medal design.
A barbecue run by the Explorer Scouts will sell hot dogs and burgers before, during, and after the run, with hot drinks from a barista. Water will be available on the route and at the finish line for refilling bottles. Families are welcome, but children under 11 must run with an adult entrant.
Parking is available at Copythorne Parish Hall, a 10-minute walk away, but car sharing is encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
