Coonawarra Running Festival 2026
The Coonawarra Running Festival takes place in Coonawarra, South Australia on Saturday 7 November 2026. The event starts and finishes at Coonawarra Memorial Park and uses local trails and the rail trail through the Coonawarra wine region and the red gum country of the Limestone Coast. Course surfaces include limestone and gravel roads.
Event options include several timed runs and a non timed walk. Distances offered:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 12.6 km Run
- 6.3 km Womens Run
- 6.3 km Mens Run
- Wobbly Winery Walk non timed, visits six wineries
- 1 km Run for all ages, prizes for 10 and under
The Wobbly Winery Walk notes that participants collect a glass at registration and that the glass collection is restricted to people over 18. The festival features markets, live music and food at the park around the start and finish area. The event also runs fundraising activities to support mental health services in the region.
