Cookies & Cocoa Fun Run
The Cookies & Cocoa 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place at Buford High School in Georgia. This athletic event serves as a fundraiser where all proceeds benefit the Career and Technical Education students and programs at the high school. Participants have the choice of several registration options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Virtual Runner
The 5K course is recognized as an official Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Participants who complete their registration by February 5, 2027, are guaranteed to receive a race t-shirt. Those registered as virtual participants are also eligible to receive a shirt for their participation in spirit.
Packet pick-up is organized over two days. On the Friday before the race, participants can collect their materials at the Buford High School Cafeteria in the commons area. On the morning of the event, packet pick-up transitions to the parking lot of Philip Beard Stadium. The virtual registration option is available for those who wish to support the beneficiaries, which include Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, without attending the physical race site.
