The Cookies & Cocoa 5K Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Buford, Georgia at Buford High School (2455 Buford Hwy NE, Buford, GA 30518). Course and logistics
The 5K course is USATF certified, certification number GA25070WC. The course consists of one and a half loops around the school: runners begin at the back of the school, complete one full loop, then a half loop to the finish line. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at Buford High School in the commons area; race day packet pick-up and registration are located in the athletics building lobby. Prices listed for the events are $30 for the on-course 5K, $30 for the virtual runner, and $20 for the Kids Fun Run.
Awards and race services
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to first and second place male and female in age divisions: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
