5k Turkey Trot x Common Space Brewery : Hawthorne, CA
The event is an untimed 5k fun run presented by the California Brewery Running Series at Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne, California. The route is clearly marked and both starts and finishes at the brewery taproom; roads on the course remain open to traffic and participants must follow traffic laws.
Registration for the event includes one craft brew from Common Space Brewery at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and access to post-run activities such as music, games, prizes, and partner giveaways. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofit partners, including East LA Rising, Radiate Motivate, and Alma Family Services.
Event provisions note that identification is required to claim alcoholic beverages; those under 21 are offered a nonalcoholic beverage instead. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine; if running conditions are unsafe, the gathering at the brewery may still continue. Dogs and strollers are permitted with care and subject to brewery policies. There is no bag check on site. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
