Colts 5K
The Colts 5K is a season‑kickoff running event in Indianapolis that routes through downtown and finishes on the 50 yard line inside Lucas Oil Stadium. The event includes a separate youth event, Blue's Fun Run, which is approximately 1 kilometer and open to children ages 4–12.
Race registration includes a performance t-shirt, a race bib with timing chip, a finisher medal, and access to post-race activities. Packet pickup is available at the Colts Pro Shop (NW corner of Lucas Oil Stadium) on the days before race day and at a race‑morning pickup location in the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium. Free parking is available in the South Lot on a first-come, first-served basis; ADA parking is designated there.
Event logistics and participant services include hydration stations on course and at the finish line, bag check in the South Lot, and enforcement of the NFL Clear Bag Policy for stadium entry. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted and should start near the back of the field. Streets reopen to traffic after approximately one hour, and an 18 minute per mile pace limit applies for the final starting group. Prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in each age group.
Blue's Fun Run uses a kid‑specific Kid Check program for children age 7 and under, supplying matching wristbands for child and accompanying adult. In case of severe weather, a virtual 5K option may be offered and medals mailed; no refunds or transfers are issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
