Colts 5K
The Colts 5K is a city road race that finishes on the 50 yard line inside Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. The 5K course weaves through downtown and concludes with a run into the stadium tunnel and across the field. A post race gathering on Lucas Oil Plaza includes music, food and beverage options, on field photo opportunities, and appearances by Colts Cheerleaders and the team mascot.
Registration includes a performance t shirt, a race bib with timing chip, a finisher medal, and access to post race activities. Packets may be mailed for early registrants; later registrants must pick up their packet in person. Packet pickup locations include the Colts Pro Shop at the northwest corner of Lucas Oil Stadium and a race morning pickup area in the stadium’s south lot. Free parking is available in the stadium south lot on a first come, first served basis, with designated ADA spaces.
The event is rain or shine; in case of severe weather the organizers may offer a virtual 5K and mail medals. Streets reopen to traffic about one hour after the start and an 18 minute per mile pace limit applies to the final starting group. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group.
