Event overview
Colour Run Cymru is a non-competitive 5K event held on St David’s Day. The next scheduled race date is 01/03/2026. The event takes place at Pembrey Country Park in Pembrey, Burry Port SA16 0EJ. The course includes colour stations where volunteers apply bright, biodegradable powder to participants. Music plays along the route and marshals are present to assist and cheer on participants. There is no requirement to complete the full distance; participants may do one lap or all of them. Costumes are encouraged, with examples mentioned such as daffodils, dragons, and traditional Welsh dress. Location and access
Pembrey Country Park is accessible by road and is well signposted from nearby towns. From the M4, exit at Junction 48 and follow the A4138 towards Llanelli. At Llanelli, turn onto the A484 heading west toward Carmarthen. In Pembrey village, turn left to “Parc Gwledig / Country Park” approximately 0.25 miles past the church and follow signs for about 1 mile to the park entrance. Parking is available on-site.
