ColorFest Color Run/Walk 5K
The ColorFest Color Run/Walk is a community event hosted by the non-profit A Safe Place in Pagosa, Inc. (dba Aspen House & Aspen Services) at Yamaguchi Park, 684 S. 5th Street, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. The event features an untimed 5K run and walk that participants can complete by running, walking, or using a baby stroller.
Volunteers staff several color stations where participants can have a white T-shirt color coordinated during the course. The route is described as scenic and mostly flat, and awards or prizes are planned for various costume categories.
Registration opens on June 21, 2026 and remains open through race day, September 19, 2026. The published registration fee is $35. Race day registrations will be accepted in cash only. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, September 18 at PS FroYo, 459 Lewis Street; registrations will also take place at that time. If a participant cannot make pre-race pickup, check-in will be available on race morning.
