Martin County Arts Council Color Fun Run - Williamston
The event is a precision timed 5K run with walkers also able to participate. Color powder is thrown at participants at intervals along the route, which takes place primarily on the Skewarkee Rail Trail and includes a short stretch on a street adjacent to the trail. Participants follow the trail to the Roanoke River boat landing, turn around there, and return to the start/finish area. The trail is flat and shaded for the majority of the route.
All profits support the arts programming and operations of the Martin County Arts Council. Registration information from the organizer: standard entry is $30 through April 30, 2027 and $35 starting May 1, 2027. Registration opens October 13, 2026 and closes April 30, 2027.
