Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk
Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk takes place on August 1, 2026 at 501 Huckleberry Lane, Le Claire, Iowa 52753, United States. The event is an untimed 5K run and walk with no age restrictions. Children five and under may participate without registering; children five and under who want a t-shirt must be registered.
Registration opens April 25, 2026. Race prices beginning on April 25, 2026 are $25 per person. Beginning June 29, 2026 registration will increase to $30 per person. Registration closes May 10, 2026. T-shirts are guaranteed for all participants; registrations after July 22, 2026 will receive a generic t-shirt rather than the 2026 design.
Each participant receives a t-shirt, a grab bag, and an individual color packet. The event is organized as an untimed experience so participants can focus on the activity and color elements rather than finishing time.
All proceeds from the Color Blaze 5k Run/Walk will go to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City. Funds are intended to support efforts related to childhood cancer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
