Colm Horkan Memorial Run 2026
The Colm Horkan Memorial Run is an athletic event organized by East Mayo AC, taking place in Charlestown, County Mayo. The event features several race distances held on flat and fast routes, which are suitable for participants aiming for specific completion times. The race operates under an Athletics Ireland permit and requires non-registered runners to purchase a one-day license during the registration process.

The event includes a virtual participation option, allowing individuals to receive an event t-shirt even if they cannot attend in person. For those attending the physical event, race numbers and commemorative t-shirts are posted to participants in advance. Entries submitted after May 1st will have their t-shirts sent following the conclusion of the race.
The race incorporates specific safety and logistical regulations. Participants aged 12 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. These younger participants are not eligible for prizes or chip timing. After the races, a gathering is held at the CBD Complex at Charlestown GAA Club for refreshments and the prize-giving ceremony.
