Coffs Harbour Running Festival
The Coffs Harbour Running Festival is a community focused event held on the New South Wales coast. The event features a variety of distances suitable for different age groups and athletic backgrounds. All participants who finish their respective distances receive a commemorative medal.
The event serves as a significant fundraiser for the region, with 100% of entry fees directed toward local charities. In the 2025 edition, the festival raised over $90,000 for community causes. The festival program includes pre-race activities such as a runner panel and a screening at the Run Nation Film Festival on the day prior to the main runs.
Available distances include:
- Marathon: A 42.2 km course with a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Half Marathon: A 21.1 km course for participants aged 16 and older.
- 10km Fun Run: Open to participants aged 12 and older.
- 5km Fun Run/Walk: No age restrictions, though children under 10 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
- 3km Fun Run/Walk: No age restrictions, though children under 10 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
The event operations are based at the Coffs Harbour Showground, where race bib collection and official presentations take place.
