Twilight Run
This is the second annual twilight running event held at Gardner High School in Gardner, Massachusetts on November 7, 2026. The event was created to honor a longtime coach who dedicated nearly five decades to coaching cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track and field, including 47 years and more than 75 seasons of coaching experience and 25 seasons in the Gardner community after 2003.
Proceeds support the Gardner High School Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track and Field teams. A local business is listed as a sponsor.
The event program includes multiple participation options and commemorative apparel choices. Distances offered include:
- 1 mile kids fun run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
Registration options listed in event materials include entries with or without a commemorative shirt and a separate kids fun run fee. The event description notes that donations and sharing event information are additional ways to support the teams. The tone of the event materials emphasizes community support, the coach's long coaching legacy, and opportunities for a range of participants to take part in an evening run.
