About the race
Clermont en Rose is a charity running and walking event held in the streets of Clermont-Ferrand. The 9th edition takes place on 11 October 2026 and proposes a single route of 5 km starting from Place du 1er Mai. The event accepts both runners and walkers and is open to women, men, children and families.
All registration fees paid by participants and any spontaneous donations are fully donated to local associations or research organisations linked to breast cancer. The event also promotes physical activity for health, noting that exercise can aid recovery and reduce the risk of relapse. Participants receive a pink event t-shirt to wear as a sign of recognition; bibs and t-shirts can be collected in the event village from Friday 9 October.
Participation options include an open non‑competitive pace, timed categories (solo female and duo mixed or female), teams, a category for people with reduced mobility, company and school challenges, and several trophies such as largest team and team with the highest proportion of male participants. For 2026 participation is limited to 10 000 official bibs and donations alone do not substitute for registration; only people with an official bib may take part.
Registrations open 28 May and are available online or by mailed paper bulletin. The online registration platform applies a one euro handling fee and organisers provide group registration guidance to avoid session timeouts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
