About the race
Clermont en Rose is the ninth edition of a community run and walk held in Clermont-Ferrand. The event proposes an approximately 5 km route through the city, starting from Place du 1er Mai, with a light refreshment and a bottle of water offered to each participant at the finish.
All registration fees and spontaneous donations collected are entirely redistributed to local associations and research organisations working on breast cancer. The event aims to show solidarity with patients and to promote health through physical activity; the organisers note that regular exercise contributes to recovery and can reduce the risk of relapse.
Participation formats and categories include timed races (solo women; mixed or women duos), a free-pace course open to all, categories for people with reduced mobility, team entries, a company challenge, a school challenge and several trophies such as largest team and team with the highest proportion of men. The official village is the event gathering point and is open from Friday through Sunday for badge and t-shirt collection; bibs and t-shirts can be picked up from Friday 9 October at Place du 1er Mai.
The 2026 edition is limited to 10 000 bibs; a donation does not substitute for an official registration. Online registrations may include a platform fee and can be temporarily suspended to process in-person or mailed entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
