Clear Creek Ultra
The Clear Creek Ultra is a low-cost, campground-style ultrarunning event held on private trails near Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Registration covers food, drink, toilets, and basic event amenities; organizers do not provide t shirts, individual place awards, or other swag. Refunds, transfers, and deferrals are not offered, and there is no member discount.
The course is a scenic single track loop of one mile that crosses creeks and includes hills. A single aid station is located at the start and finish area and will offer water, Tailwind sports drink, and food. Runners may also set up and use their own personal aid at the start/finish.
Participants must keep track of the number of loops they complete and self report final results into UltraSignup. A race clock will be provided at the start/finish. Camping and parking are available at the start/finish area and participants are invited to camp on site. The trails are private so permission from the property owner is required before any test runs. Event hosts request that attendees not bring dogs because dogs and chickens are present on the property.
The event notes options for longer distances, and Grand Slam eligibility is defined for participants who complete a 50k or at least one lap for Puppy Dogs. Saturday evening activities include communal food and drink. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
