Clear Creek Ultra - Crystal Springs, MS
The Clear Creek Ultra is a looped ultrarunning event organized by the Mississippi Ultra and Trail Society (MUTS). The start/finish is located at 1074 Rhymes Road, Crystal Springs, Mississippi on private trails; permission from the property owner is requested before doing a test run.
The course is a single-track, one-mile loop that crosses creeks and includes hills. Runners may complete as many laps as they choose within a 10-hour time limit. Participants are required to keep track of their own lap count and self-report final results into UltraSignup; a race clock will be available at the start/finish.
There will be one aid station at the start/finish supplying water, Tailwind sports drink, and food. Runners are also encouraged to set up and use their own personal aid. Camping and parking are available at the start/finish area; attendees can indicate camping plans during registration. Hosts ask that visitors not bring dogs because the property has animals.
Registration costs $25 and covers food, drink, toilets, and some on-site amenities. There will be no t-shirt, individual or place awards, refunds, transfers, deferrals, or member discounts for this event.
