The Clean Atoms for Healthy Cells 5K is the 2nd annual 5K Walk & Run and 1K Kids Fun Run held to raise awareness of nuclear energy and to fund scholarships. The event takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Flowood Nature Park in Flowood, Mississippi. Format, fees and benefits

Registration fees for the 5K events include an early-bird rate of $35 and a regular rate of $40. The 1K Kids Fun Run is free. One hundred percent of registration fees and additional donations are designated for a scholarship fund supporting students who want to study science, technology, business, or policy related to nuclear energy. A nuclear energy-themed art competition for 3rd to 5th graders at North Jackson Elementary produced the winning shirt design; students' artwork will be displayed at the event and on the ANS Mississippi website.
