Cirque Series - Snowbird

The Cirque Series - Snowbird is a mountain trail race held at Snowbird, Utah. The course covers a distance of 8.9 miles and features a vertical gain of 3,610 feet. The event is part of a larger series where participants can earn points toward overall season standings. Participation is limited to a field of 500 entries.

The event features three distinct registration categories:

  • Sport Division: For beginner and intermediate participants.
  • Expert Division: For experienced mountain runners.
  • Pro Division: For professional-level athletes.

Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each category. The Pro Division offers cash prizes, while the Sport and Expert Divisions award gear. Additional recognition is given for specific achievements, including the Grom Award for the youngest competitor, the OG Award for the oldest competitor, the Lexie Award for the unofficial MVP, and a Middle of the Pack Award for the runner finishing in the exact center of the field.

Timing is provided by Competitive Timing using disposable chips attached to the bibs. Hydration stations are located along the route and at the finish line. The race follows "Leave No Trace" principles, prohibiting littering and requiring participants to respect private property and Forest Service officials.

Overall season honors, including belt buckles, are available for participants who compete in multiple events throughout the year. Individuals who complete six races in the 2026 series qualify for a specific series award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
