Event
The Circle City Donut Dash takes place in Indianapolis on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Fowling Warehouse, 1125 E. Brookside Ave. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Donut Challenge
- 5K Non-Donut
- Virtual 5K
The Donut Challenge requires participants to stop at the halfway point to consume a dozen donut holes and meet specific completion rules to be eligible for Donut Challenge awards. Children age 7 and under may run or walk free with a parent in the Non-Donut 5K but will not be timed or receive race materials unless registered. Virtual participants are mailed a race shirt, custom bib, and finisher medal.
Logistics and additional information
Packet pickup is available at Teachers' Treasures and at Fowling Warehouse. Parking is in the Fowling Warehouse lot across the street. All in-person participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free donuts after the race, free coffee, and bottled water. An after-party at Fowling Warehouse includes free food and three drink tickets (21 and over) redeemable for specified beverages; photo ID is required for alcohol.
Awards are given to overall and age-group placers, plus costume contest and themed best-dressed categories; award recipients must be present to receive prizes. Pricing varies by registration date for each event. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Teachers' Treasures, a not-for-profit that distributes school supplies to teachers in need.
