CINCO DE MILE 5 QUE - Fresno 5K

The CINCO DE MILE 5 QUE - Fresno 5K is scheduled for May 1, 2026 at Woodward Park in Fresno, California (7775 N Friant Rd). The event includes a 5-kilometer run, a 2-mile walk, and multiple kids races for children under 12. The 5K is part of a regional points series as a 20-point Central Valley Runner of the Year event.

Course and format

The main course is an out-and-back route that begins at the Group Activity Area in Woodward Park. The surface is approximately 50% paved bike trail and 50% dirt road or trail. The course description notes an open, out-and-back layout.

Awards and participant items

All participants receive food and refreshments, a shirt, a medal, and a participant bag. The 5K awards are given by age group (<19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). Top three awards are given in the 5K and in the Athena and Clydesdale divisions. The Athena division is for women over 185 lbs and the Clydesdale division is for men over 225 lbs. No awards are listed for the 2-mile walk. Additional event features include music, folklorico and dance demonstrations, a Latin dance competition, and a best costume competition.
