Christmas in July 5K/10K and Reindeer Kids Dash
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston presents a charity running event at TC Jester Park, 4201 TC Jester Blvd, Houston, TX on July 25, 2026. The event benefits local programs including meals, shelter, youth clubs, services for seniors and veterans, hurricane season response, and early funding for Christmas assistance.
Event offerings include the following distances:
- 10K Angel Tree 10K run/walk
- 5K Red Kettle 5K run/walk
- 100–200 m Reindeer Kids Dash for children 10 and under
Registration details provided for each race include opening and closing dates and entry fees: 10K registration opened March 20, 2026 and closed April 20, 2026 with a $35 fee; 5K registration opened March 20, 2026 and closed April 20, 2026 with a $30 fee; Kids Dash registration opened March 20, 2026 and closed July 6, 2026 with a $15 fee. Race day packet pickup begins at 6:00 AM.
Participants receive a custom Poly-Tech race shirt, a finisher medal, an official race bib, and eligibility for overall and age group awards. Fundraising options are available with recognition tiers for fundraisers, and all funds raised remain local to serve Greater Houston.
