Christmas in July 5K, 10K and Reindeer Kids Dash, Houston
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston presents the annual Christmas in July running events on July 25, 2026 at TC Jester Park, 4201 TC Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77018. The event includes multiple distances and a kids dash on park trails.
Distances offered:
- Angel Tree 10K
- Red Kettle 5K
- Reindeer Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, about 100 meters
Proceeds support local Salvation Army services. Funds are used to provide meals for families, offer shelter to women and children, support Red Shield Youth Club programs, assist seniors and veterans, prepare for hurricane season response, and provide early funding for Christmas 2026 assistance. Every dollar raised stays local and serves Greater Houston.
Registration opens March 20, 2026. Registration for the 5K and 10K closes April 20, 2026. Registration for the kids dash closes July 6, 2026. Published registration fees are $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K, and $15 for the kids dash.
Participant items and recognition include a custom poly-tech race shirt, a custom finisher medal, an official race bib, and overall and age group awards. The course uses the scenic trails of TC Jester Park. Parents are welcome to join the kids dash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
