Phoenix Running - Surrey Valentines Run
Phoenix Running stages an annual Valentines-themed timed event on Sunday 14 February 2027 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium in Walton on Thames, Surrey. The course is an out-and-back riverside route along the Thames made of towpath trail; the overall course has no elevation gain or loss.
Distances are organised as laps of a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) circuit. Available options include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Participants can complete as many or as few laps as they like within a seven hour time limit. The event operates a flexible one hour start window so runners may choose a start time within that window. Support for the event includes an aid station, same-day results, athlete profiles, digital BIBs, and digital finishers' certificates. Finishers normally receive a bespoke hat and medal, and there is a lower-cost entry option without medal or hat at a flat price of £20. Standard entry prices shown are £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unaffiliated runners. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules.
