Christleton 5K is a road race held at Christleton High School, Village Road, CH3 7AD, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Chester Triathlon Club and 2026 will be the 37th running of the race. The distance is 5K.
The course is described as one of the fastest 5K courses in the region and many local runners report setting personal best times at Christleton. The race will be chip timed so entrants receive an accurate finish time.
Entries are open online until the day before the race unless the event is full. There is an active waiting list; payment from a waiting list entry is taken only if a place is offered and accepted. Standard entry price is £17.00 plus a booking fee of £0.80; UK Athletics members receive an automatic £2 discount. Entry is available to people aged 11 and over on 8 May 2026.
Cancellations and transfers are processed via the event entry system. Entries can be transferred at any time. Cancellations made by the stated deadline are refunded to the original card less a £2 administration charge. The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants for 12 months from the date of entry.
