Christ the King 5K
The Christ the King 5K is an annual community event held in Indianapolis, Indiana. This seventh annual edition offers participants multiple ways to engage with the event, ranging from an in-person race to remote participation options. The physical race begins at the 5884 North Crittenden Ave parking lot.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- 5K: A 3.1-mile course for runners and walkers.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option where participants submit proof of their time.
- Sleep-in 0.0: A category requiring no running, which includes a shirt and sticker.
The registration structure includes individual entry fees and a specific flat rate for families of up to eight members living in the same household. All registered participants in the Sleep-in 0.0 category receive a shirt and a sticker. For those participating in the moving categories, shirts are provided to those who register by the designated cutoff date in early August. The event relies on local support and offers opportunities for individuals to assist through volunteering. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
