Choose Joy for Melina 5K and MORE
The Choose Joy for Melina 5K and MORE is the 7th annual event presented by the Melina Michelle Edenfield Foundation. It is scheduled for September 13, 2026, at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive, Canfield, Ohio 44406. The event raises funds to support efforts to find a cure for pediatric brain tumors.
Event offerings include in-person and virtual 5K options and a free kids fun run. The kids fun run is a 400 meter lap on the track for ages 8 and under.

Registration options listed by the organizer show a $35 tier that includes a shirt and cinch bag and a $20 tier that includes a cinch bag only. Packets may be shipped for $10 or picked up at the Hampton Inn Canfield, 6690 Ironwood Blvd, Canfield, Ohio 44406. Participant t-shirts are only guaranteed through August 27, 2026. Packet pick-up and race day registration are available for in-person participants. Virtual entries may submit results for official recording during the virtual entry window, which runs from September 13 through October 13, 2026.
