1st Choice "He is Risen" Walk + 5K for Life
The event is a chip-timed 5K held on April 4, 2026, at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Participants will meet at the tornado shelter directly off Zero Street, where the race will begin. Timing is provided by JAYMAX Race Timing Services.
Registrations received on or before March 16 are guaranteed a t-shirt and will receive a medal. After March 16, t-shirts are available on a first come, first serve basis. Goodie bags will be given to all registered participants.
Awards include a basket of candy for the top overall runners in male, female and under 18 categories. Top finishers in each age category, male and female, will receive a small bag of candy.
The event supports 1st Choice Pregnancy Medical Center. The center provides free and confidential medical services in a safe and judgment free environment to help women facing unplanned pregnancy explore options and take the next right step for their lives.
