Choctaw Nation Labor Day 5K
The Choctaw Nation Labor Day 5K is a running event held in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, as part of the annual Labor Day Festival. The course takes participants through the historic Choctaw Nation Capitol Grounds. This morning run is designed to coincide with the tribal festival, which celebrates family and Choctaw traditions.
The route starts and finishes at the intersection of Nashoba and Council House Road. Runners pass through the area surrounding the capitol grounds and the Choctaw Capitol Museum. The event is one of several sporting activities organized during the festival weekend, alongside cultural events such as stickball games and gourd dancing.
Registration for the race is free and must be completed online. The organizers do not accept on-site registrations. A commemorative t-shirt is provided to the first 400 participants who complete the run.
