The 2026 Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series Race #3 takes place on January 24, 2026 in Celoron, New York. The race starts and finishes at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, 10 Dunham Avenue, Celoron, NY 14720. The event is one race in a five-race Winter 5K Series and uses an age-grading system to calculate points. Age-grading gives each runner a percentage value of an "ideal" time based on age and gender for comparative scoring.
Registration and race details
Registration options include individual race entry and a five-race series bundle. To be eligible for overall series awards, participants must register for the entire series and complete at least four of the five races; if all five races are run, the highest race time will be dropped. The series awards cash prizes to the top three runners overall. Runners aged 80 and older register free; a student discount applies for participants 18 and under. Day-of registration is available at the race from 9:00 am to 9:45 am at a higher fee. All participants at each race are eligible for raffle prizes. Coffee, tea, water and snacks are provided before and after each race by the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. A course map is available through the event’s online mapping resource.
