The 2026 Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series Race #3 takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Celoron, New York. The race is part of the Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series and uses an age-grading system to calculate points based on each runner's age and gender. Races start and finish at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.
Logistics and entry
The event listing shows a per-race price of $22.20 (including a $2.20 fee). A reduced rate applies for participants 18 and under, and registration is waived for runners aged 80 and older. Online registration for each series race normally closes the day before the race; day-of registration is available at the race for $25 between 9:00 am and 9:45 am. Coffee, tea, water and snacks are provided before and after each race.
Series format and awards
A five-race bundle is offered for the full series; the bundle price is presented as a total of $80 for all five races. To be eligible for overall series awards, participants must register for the entire series and complete at least four of the five races. If a runner completes all five races, the highest race time is dropped. There are cash prizes for the top three runners in the series and raffle prizes at each race.
