Chateau Elan Muscadine Run
The Chateau Elan Muscadine Run is an off-road race held in Braselton, Georgia. This event is part of the "Off The Grid" Trail Run Series and takes place on the grounds of the Chateau Elan property. Participation is limited to 275 runners due to trail capacity and parking availability.
The course begins on the street to provide adequate spacing for participants before transitioning into the Chateau Elan Vineyards. Runners navigate a route that passes through the vineyards, moves past the spa area, follows Wheeler Creek, and circuits the golf course. The terrain consists of a mixture of vineyard paths and trail sections.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 3.2 miles: A single lap encompassing the vineyards, spa loop, and golf course.
- 5.9 miles: Two laps of the course with a turn for the second lap located at the 3.1-mile water station.
Registered participants receive a tri-blend shirt, though availability is not guaranteed for late or race-day registrations. Awards are available for the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over, as well as Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters divisions. Following the event, a wine tasting featuring signature selections is provided for participants in the finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
