2nd Chance Run - Houston
The 2nd Chance Run in Houston is scheduled for September 19, 2026, at Willow Waterhole, 5300 Dryad Dr, Houston, TX 77035. The event is offered both in person and virtually and includes timed and untimed distances.

The event is hosted by LifeGift to honor organ, eye, and tissue donors across 109 Texas counties. It aims to raise awareness about donation and transplantation and to support donor families and recipients. The listing notes that more than 10,000 Texans are waiting for organ transplantation.
All registrations include a custom event t-shirt, a custom 2nd Chance Run medal, a race swag bag, and entry to the race village. 5K registrants receive a race bib and timing chip. Donor remembrance yard signs are provided at no charge; participants may decorate signs and have them placed along the course. Packet pick-up is available the day before at a LifeGift location.
Teams are encouraged; teams with five or more in-person members receive a $2.00 refund per member, excluding youth members.
