About the race
The Challenge Ruban Rose in Lille is scheduled for 4 October 2026 and will be held around the Citadelle with the event village located at the Champ de Mars. The edition is the 12th and follows a prior edition that mobilised 10 000 participants; the organiser states an objective of 10 000 participants for 2026.
Participants can choose between a run or a walk on two distance options:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Bib and t-shirt collection is organised at Quartier Libre (Esplanade du Champ de Mars, 1 All. des Marronniers, 59800 Lille). Group registrations (10 people or more) have a specific collection procedure: one appointed group administrator collects the group’s items by appointment. Individual and last‑minute pickups are possible on the village subject to local traffic conditions.
Practical measures include reinforced security for the Citadelle area with the north and south parkings closed, a baggage consignment with size limits and security searches, restriction of the start area to sport clothing and bibs, prohibition of dogs, access control at the finish zone and on‑site toilets. Music animation is planned in the village and participants are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to event staff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
