CFID 2026 : Bug Run and Pub Crawl
This event combines the 12th annual CFID Bug Run with the first Bug Pub Crawl in St. John's, Newfoundland. Activities include an in-person run, a walk and a virtual participation option.

The in-person run takes place at Signal Hill, Signal Hill Road, St. John's. The Bug Pub Crawl is scheduled for April 28, 2026 and the Bug Run for May 1, 2026. Participants are asked to meet in the Delta hotel lobby before departure. A virtual run/walk/bike option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Registration has separate deadlines; Pub Crawl registration closes on April 16 and Bug Run registration closes on April 30. Listed prices include all fees and taxes and there are specific pricing options for virtual and in-person entries as well as trainee and regular Pub Crawl categories.
The event supports the Canadian Foundation for Infectious Diseases. To date CA$4,144.96 has been raised toward a CA$9,999.00 goal, and 83 participants are registered. All participants receive a swag bag and a hat; fundraising tiers provide additional items such as a pen, event t-shirt, and water bottle.
